How Ropes are made?
TIEIC Ropes & Twines is one of the pioneers in the PP & HDPE rope manufacturing based in Gujarat state of India. Our ropes are exported to various countries around the world including USA, Germany, Belgium, UK, UAE, Australia and South Korea among others.
Here we will show you a glimpse of how the pp and hdpe ropes are manufactured at our factory in Morbi, India. All of our export quality ropes are virgin quality which means our raw material is not recycled. We have a separate range for the recycled ropes which mostly serve the indian as well as african market for particular applications.
The raw material for pp and hdpe ropes are small granules of polypropylene or polyethylene. The granules are melted and made in small fine twines with the help of an extrusion machine. Colors are mixed as per requirement. The most popular colors are yellow and white but our pp and hdpe ropes come in varieties of colors. These twines are stretched as per requirement in a special machine.
These twines are then rolled into the bobbins with the help of spindling machinery. These twines are twisted with the help of an online winding machine. These bobbins are then separated from the machine and kept in the racks to use in the future process.
We have multiple rope making machines as per the size requirement of the final rope. The bobbins are fit into those rope making machines and the operator sets the speed and the twists as per the requirements.
Once the rope is produced they are passed through a coiling machine to give the coil sizes as per the requirement of the order. These coils are then packed with the proper labels on it and wrapped with plastic wraps.
That is how the pp and hdpe ropes are manufactured at our factory. We produce the pp and hdpe rope in 4mm to 44mm size with requirements as per the market.
